Tips and commissions in reports.

Tips show on the Sales report, in the Tip column for each job and in the Tips total at the top. JobField does not work out technician commissions today, so the Sales report has no commission figure.

Steps

1. Open Reports from the menu and click Sales.
2. Pick the period from the period list above the table and click Apply.
3. Read Tips in the totals at the top for the whole period, or the Tip column for each job.
4. To see one technician's jobs, pick a name from the All technicians list and click Apply. The totals then cover that technician's jobs only.

Good to know

The Amount total and the Total column include tips and any credit card surcharge, because they count every dollar the customer paid. Profit is the money collected minus parts. It does not take out technician pay or the sales tax you collected.

To work out commissions yourself, export the Jobs report with Export CSV. The file lists the Tech for every job, along with Parts, Labor and Total, so you can sort it by technician in your spreadsheet program.

If Reports shows a card with a See plans button instead, reports are not included in your current plan.
