What Revenue this week and this month include.

Revenue this week and Revenue this month add up the money you actually collected, not what you invoiced. The week starts on Sunday and the month starts on the first, both at midnight in your business time zone.

Steps

1. Open Dashboard and find the two revenue tiles just under the four tiles for today.
2. Each tile adds up every payment recorded on a job in its period, however the customer paid.
3. Tips and the credit card surcharge are part of the total, because they were collected with the payment.
4. An invoice nobody has paid adds nothing. A partial payment counts for the amount that came in, in the period it came in.
5. To see the payments behind a number, open Reports, click Sales, pick This week or This month from the period list and click Apply. Sales adds up the same payments as the tiles.

Good to know

Clicking a revenue tile opens the Payments report for the same period. That report lists invoices, paid and unpaid, so its totals can differ from the tile.

Refunded payments, bank transfers that are still clearing or were returned, and payments on deleted jobs are left out.

To change the time zone, open Settings → Account, pick your zone in the Time zone field and click Save changes.

If you see a card asking you to change plans instead of the report, this part is not included in your current plan.
