What the Today numbers on the dashboard count.

Two of the four tiles at the top of the Dashboard are easy to misread. Done today counts jobs that were paid today, and Scheduled today counts jobs that were booked today, whatever day the work is set for.

Steps

1. Open Dashboard from the menu on the left.
2. Today is the money collected since midnight, from every payment recorded today. Tips and the credit card surcharge are included. The line under the amount shows how many jobs those payments were for.
3. Scheduled today counts the jobs created today that have a date and time, even when that date is next week. A job booked last week for today does not count here, and a job saved without a date never counts.
4. In progress now counts every job whose status is In progress, whatever its date. It counts jobs, not technicians. A job a technician started yesterday and never finished still counts until its status changes.
5. Done today counts the jobs that received a payment today. A job set to Done that has not been paid yet is not included, and a job paid in two parts counts once.

Good to know

Days follow your business time zone. To change it, open Settings → Account, pick your zone in the Time zone field and click Save changes.

Refunded payments, bank transfers that are still clearing or were returned, and payments on deleted jobs are left out of Today. The numbers update each time you open the dashboard.

The dashboard is for owners, admins and dispatchers. On a phone, tap Dispatcher view on the home screen of the app to reach it.
