In Estimates, pick Approved from the All statuses list and click Apply. A second tag next to Approved shows where the money stands: Unpaid, Partial or Paid.
Steps
- Click Estimates in the menu.
- Open the All statuses list, pick Approved and click Apply.
- Read the tag beside Approved in the Status column. Unpaid means nothing has been collected on that job yet. Partial means some of it has, and the amount paid so far appears under the Total. Paid means the job is paid in full.
- Click a row to open the job, then open its Payments tab. On a phone, payments sit under the Finance tab.
- Press Collect payment to take the payment now, or Send invoice to send the customer the invoice with a pay link.
Good to know
The tag adds up the payments that went through on the job, leaving out refunded ones, and compares them with the job total or the approved estimate, whichever is higher. A tip or a credit card surcharge does not count toward it.
Paid or Partial can also show on a draft or sent estimate when the job has already taken a payment.
Collect payment and Send invoice only appear while the job still has a balance. Once it is paid in full, the job shows Paid instead.
The list shows your 300 most recent estimates for the status you pick.
