No. Every row is matched by phone number. If the number already belongs to a customer in JobField, the row is skipped and nothing on the existing customer is changed. You can even import the same customer file twice without ending up with two copies of anyone.
Good to know
A row with no phone number is matched by name instead, and it is skipped if a customer with the same name already exists. Duplicates inside the file itself are caught too, so a customer listed twice in your export is added once.
When you import jobs, each job is attached to the customer with the matching phone number. If there is no match, a new customer is created from the job row, and the other jobs with that number attach to the same customer. Jobs themselves are not matched against jobs already in JobField, so import a jobs file only once.
The Import complete screen shows how many customers or jobs were added and how many rows were skipped as duplicates. A row with no name never gets that far. It is left out at the preview step, where the count of rows ready to import already excludes it. The upload area says up to 50,000 rows and about 10 MB per file.
