Save your Google review link in Settings → Reviews first. Then text it to a customer from any job with the Review button, or turn on the automation that sends it a few hours after the job is paid.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Reviews. Enter a location name, paste your Google review link, and tap Save review links. The page shows what the link looks like and where to copy it from.
- If you have more than one location, tap Add location and fill in Cities and ZIP codes this location covers, so each customer gets the link for the place that served them. A job that matches nothing uses the first location.
- To ask right away, open the job and tap Review. Pick the location card marked Text this link →. The customer gets a text with your link and a thank-you from your business.
- To ask automatically, go to Settings → Automations and turn on Review request after payment. It goes out a few hours after a job is fully paid. Tap Edit message to change the wording, then tap Save message.
Good to know
The Review button appears on a job only after you have saved at least one review link, and the customer needs a phone number on their record. Technicians do not see it in the Tech app.
The automatic request waits for the payment to clear, so a bank transfer that is still on its way does not trigger it. Each job is asked once, and texts go out between 8 AM and 9 PM.
