No. A booking request never goes straight onto your calendar. It lands in Bookings, you get a notification, and one tap on Create job turns it into a job with the customer, address and requested time already filled in.
Steps
- Open Bookings in the menu. A red count on the menu item shows how many requests are waiting.
- Read the card. It shows the customer's name, phone, address, the requested date and time window, and the issue in their own words. Tap Call or Message if you want to reach them before you commit to a time.
- Tap Create job. JobField matches the phone number to an existing customer or creates a new one, and the new job opens so you can assign a technician.
- Tap Dismiss for spam or a duplicate request. It disappears from the list.
Good to know
Owners and dispatchers who have turned on notifications get a ping the moment a request comes in, and tapping it opens Bookings.
If the customer chose a date but picked Anytime for the time window, the job is placed on that day as a full-day arrival window so it still shows on the Schedule. Set the real time on the job once you know it.
Requests taken by your Receptionist land in the same list, marked Your Receptionist, so you review every new customer in one place.
