Turn on card payments.

Open Payments from the menu and complete the Set up payments card. The whole setup happens inside JobField and takes a few minutes.

Steps

1. Have three things ready: your business EIN, or your Social Security number if you are a sole proprietor, your bank routing and account number, and a photo of your driver's license.
2. Open Payments from the menu. Until card payments are on, the page shows a Set up payments card.
3. Fill in the setup on that card. It asks you to connect your bank and verify your identity.
4. When you finish, the Payments page switches to your balance, recent payments and payouts. You are ready to take cards.

If you are still in the welcome wizard, the Payments step has a Set up JobField Pay button that opens the same setup. Skip for now lets you come back to it later from the Payments page.

Good to know

Card money goes straight to the bank account you enter during setup. JobField never touches it.

Once payments are on, every job offers card options under Collect payment, customers can pay invoice links online, and Tap to Pay on iPhone works in the JobField app.

If your account is still under review, the Payments page keeps showing Set up payments so you can finish any missing step. Message support if it does not clear.
