Yes. The Card step on every invoice link offers Apple Pay or Google Pay when the customer's phone or browser supports it, and there is nothing to turn on. The payment is recorded on the job like any card payment.

Steps

  1. Send the invoice from the job with Send invoice, by Email or Text.
  2. The customer opens the link and presses Card.
  3. On an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac with a card in Apple Wallet, an Apple Pay button appears above the card form. On an Android phone, or in Chrome with a saved card, a Google Pay button appears instead.
  4. The customer presses the button and confirms with their face, fingerprint or passcode. The payment goes through at once.
  5. The job reads Paid, the receipt goes out, and the payment shows under Payments like any card payment.

Good to know

What the customer sees. The wallet button appears only when the device has a card set up, and a customer without one simply sees the card form. The amount, your business name and the receipt are the same either way.

What it costs. A wallet payment costs you the same as any online card payment, at the rate listed under Processing fees & accepted methods on Settings → Payments, which also lists the accepted cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The credit card surcharge, if you use it, applies to a credit card in the wallet and not to a debit card.

In person. With the JobField app on an iPhone, Tap to Pay on iPhone takes Apple Pay and other wallets from the customer's phone held near the top of yours. On the Collect payment sheet in a browser, Card · manual takes a keyed-in card only.

Bank transfer is its own choice on the link and is never a wallet payment.
