Not today. JobField has no block list, no call screening and no spam label, so every call to your number follows your call flow and lands in Calls like any other. What you can do is tell an unwanted call from a customer quickly and keep it out of your bookings.

Steps

  1. Open Calls. A call with a transcript carries a short summary under the recording, which often says plainly when a call was a recording or a sales pitch. Treat it as a hint, not a filter, because it can be wrong or missing.
  2. Listen to the recording when you are unsure. A real customer usually leaves a name, a problem or an address.
  3. If a call reached your Receptionist and left a card in Bookings that is not real work, press Dismiss and it leaves the list.
  4. Give each number a Source label on the Numbers tab under Settings → Phone & texting. Calls then show where each one came from, which helps you see which number draws unwanted calls.

Good to know

The Receptionist. It is told to turn away a caller who is clearly selling something and to take a message from a vendor. That is how it talks, not a setting, and a robocall that never speaks is handled like any other call.

Missed call text back. If that automation is on, it also texts a robocaller who rang and hung up, because there is no list of numbers to leave out.

Spam texts. Unwanted texts to your number land in Messages like any other text.

If one number keeps calling, tell us from Settings → Help & Support.

Still stuck? Open Help & Support in JobField to chat with us, or write to support@jobfield.app. We usually reply within 30 minutes.
