Voicemail is the last step of your call flow. Its greeting is the text on the Voicemail step, and your closed greeting under Business hours covers calls after you close. Every voicemail lands in Calls as a missed call with the recording and a transcript.
Steps
- On a computer, open Settings → Phone & texting and choose the Default flow tab, or press Edit routing on a flow under Call flows.
- Find the Voicemail step at the end of the flow. If there is none, press Voicemail under Add step and connect it after your last Phone step.
- Replace the greeting text on the step with your own words. It is read aloud by a computer voice, so keep it short. A recorded greeting cannot be uploaded.
- Press Save routing.
- For calls after hours, set the Closed greeting under Business hours on the Default flow tab and press Save business hours.
